About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MyGridTime, operated by LB42 Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use MyGridTime.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The service

MyGridTime is a web application that allows users to view motorsport event timetables, upload schedules, filter sessions by class or driver, and receive alerts before their sessions. The service is provided as-is and is subject to change.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice of any significant changes.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use the service. By using MyGridTime you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are eligible to enter into a binding agreement.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at support@mygridtime.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe it is being used in breach of these Terms.

Free tier and paid features

MyGridTime offers a free tier that allows you to browse and view event timetables. Access to personal filtered schedules, push notifications, SMS alerts, and WhatsApp alerts requires purchasing a Race Day Pass.

Prices are displayed in GBP and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider. By making a purchase you authorise us to charge the applicable fee.

Race Day Passes are non-refundable once alerts have been sent or the event has commenced. If you experience a technical fault that prevents the service from functioning as described, please contact us and we will review your case.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use MyGridTime in any way that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringes the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights.
  • Attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its underlying systems.
  • Disrupts or degrades the performance of the service for other users.
  • Involves the automated scraping, harvesting, or collection of data from the service without our prior written consent.
  • Involves uploading content that is unlawful, misleading, or harmful.

Uploaded content

When you upload a timetable or other content to MyGridTime, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that the content does not infringe any third-party rights. You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading it, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of timetable content uploaded by users. Always verify session times through official championship communications before the event.

Intellectual property

All intellectual property in the MyGridTime platform, including its design, software, branding, and content created by us, belongs to LB42 Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the service as described.

Disclaimers

MyGridTime is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alerts will be delivered without delay. Alert delivery depends on factors outside our control, including your device, network connectivity, and third-party messaging providers.

We are not affiliated with any motorsport championship, organiser, or governing body. Timetable data loaded by organisers or uploaded by users may not always reflect the most current schedule. You are responsible for verifying session times independently.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LB42 Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to missed sessions, loss of race entry fees, or travel costs.

Our total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@mygridtime.com. We may terminate or suspend your access at any time if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
